On April 1, 2026, Villa Schöpflin launched “Can-K,” a pilot project for nationwide cannabis prevention at the local level. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Health through March 31, 2029.

In this collaborative project, Villa Schöpflin is working in cooperation with Dr. Heidi Kuttler and Cooptima, and is receiving scientific support from the Medical School Hamburg and the German Center for Addiction Issues in Childhood and Adolescence. Eight nationwide model sites are involved from the outset in the participatory development and testing of the measures. In addition to Villa Schöpflin in Lörrach, specialized centers in Munich, Leipzig, Delmenhorst, Berlin (2x), Schweinfurt, and Hamburg are participating.
