On February 26 and 27, 2026, a training course for the freii prevention program took place at the Collegium Borromaeum in Freiburg im Breisgau.
A total of 29 professionals from the fields of addiction treatment and prevention, school social work, and teaching participated in the two-day training session.
During the training, participants were prepared to independently implement the freii program with school classes in the future. In addition to expert insights on media use and prevention, the focus was primarily on practical application in a school setting.
freii addresses the reality where digital media are an integral part of young people’s daily lives and supports children, adolescents, and their families in developing a mindful approach to digital media. The trained professionals play an important role as points of contact for students, parents, and teachers and support the implementation on-site.
Participation in the training was free of charge thanks to funding from the Schöpflin Foundation and the Beisheim Foundation.
We wish all trained professionals much success and enjoyment in implementing freii.
